I try to get in one major backpacking trip a year with family/friends and this year we aim to do The West Coast Trail. I’m so looking forward to it. Ocean and rainforests, can’t wait!

Wow, I’ve been looking for a resource like this for over a year (after I moved here from St Louis, Missouri). I too am a geek that loves a good hike. You’d be surprised how many of us are out there.
I’ve been beach walking it for a while. Crystal Cove is absolutely gorgeous when their isn’t a massive horde of tourists.
Anyways, I’m new to the area. 24. and trying to make new some friends in what little time I get away from work (IT side of a Finance System… yuck
).
